A new season for the Wisconsin Badgers begins on Friday night in Tampa. The Badgers will take on South Florida. Coach Paul Chryst talks about the season opener as well as some of the key position battles in camp this summer.
Specifically, the quarterback position drew a lot of attention, but Chryst has said all camp long that he likes his quarterback room.
In regards to the Florida heat and humidity, Chryst says the Badgers are aware of it but they can't simulate that environment in practice.
Kickoff is at 6 p.m. on Friday. Badgers Gameday begins at 2 p.m. on 1310 WIBA in Madison and 97.3 The Game in Milwaukee, and coverage begins at 4 p.m. statewide on the Badger Sports Network.
