The Madison Mallards (41-27) rolled over Battle Creek (22-46) 13-0, after taking advantage of the Bombers weak offense. Outstanding pitching by the Mallards guided the team to their 41st win of the season.
Battle Creek was unable to make their way onto the scoreboard during the game. Madison claimed the 13-0 victory in their last meeting with the Bombers for the regular season.
The winning pitcher is Daniel Bagwell (Queens University of Charlotte), after he pitched through five innings. This is his first win of the season.
The Mallards are on the road to compete against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (43-24) for the last time during the regular season. Thursday will mark game one of a two-game series.
